A tradition of quality seaside holidays for over 70 years
About us

Welcome to the website of Grasmere Caravan Park and Wentworth Holiday Chalets. If you’re looking for a holiday site with its own swimming pool, restaurant, amusement arcade, clubhouse, bar, bingo and on-site entertainment then click the BACK button on your browser now, because these are all things that we have not got. Nor, unfortunately, can we offer breathtaking scenery.
Grasmere was established before 1930 and this is our thirteenth season of ownership of Wentworth Chalets.
Our emphasis has always been on a personal and friendly service. We tend to attract those families who prefer peace and quiet to activity and razzmatazz, and use us as a base to explore the surrounding countryside, beach, Great Yarmouth, the Norfolk Broads and numerous other local attractions.

Within one mile of our entrance there are 4 public houses, 5 supermarkets including a Tesco with cashpoints and Lidl. There is also a butchers, newsagent/post office, chemist, several hairdressers, a wide range of restaurants/ takeaways and a bookmakers. Together with the rest of the village shops they can provide much better value than if we tried to provide them on-site.
How to find us
Grasmere is at the far end of Bultitudes Loke from the main road, with Wentworth at the top end. ‘Loke’ is a Norfolk term meaning ‘a road leading to a field’.
The turn off from the main road into the Loke is easy to overshoot, especially if coming from the direction of Great Yarmouth. It is now marked by a house colour-washed BLUE. Turn with care as the Loke is narrow and traffic is two-way.
Coming by Road?

If entering Caister from the A1064: As you approach Caister Parish Church you need to be in the left hand lane. The right hand lane is for traffic for the Old Hall and Lidl only.

If approaching along the A149 from Great Yarmouth, enter Caister at the Stadium Roundabout. The entrance to the Loke is about ½ a mile down the road, just before the bus shelter.
